A surf lesson in Puerto Rico or Hawaii, with a local instructor who teaches first-timers every day. Pick a time and get in the water.

What this is

CatchMoreWaves connects people who want to learn to surf with instructors and surf schools who teach. Instructors and schools list their own services and manage their own bookings, so the times you see are times they’re actually free. You request a specific time with a specific person, rather than calling a number and hoping somebody picks up.

Who it’s for

People who have never stood on a board, and people who’ve had a lesson or two and want more. Mostly that’s someone on a trip with a few days free and one thing they’ve always meant to try.

First-timers are the whole job here. You won’t be the only one out there who’s never done this before.

Where we’re starting

Puerto Rico and Hawaii, then more of the US and its territories. We’re starting where our first instructors already are, rather than putting pins on a map and working backwards.

Where we’re up to

Booking is open in Puerto Rico and Hawaii. Request a time, pay, and your instructor confirms it. Then get out there.
